Project Information

This creative and fully open plan school presented a number of challenges in regards to the acoustic design, in which all classes are linked to each other within a large double height space, with little to no separating partitions. MACH Acoustics worked closely with the architect to determine how the acoustic treatment required for the space could be included within the design, looking at various options for ceilings and wall panels. A good level of separation was achieved between the different teaching spaces through horizontally and vertically “breaking up” the open space as well as adding large area of acoustic treatment to reduce the spread of noise.
