Ze oversees all MACH Acoustics’ projects and offers guidance on challenging issues in his core areas of expertise: sustainable building design, open plan, alternative performance standards and building refurbishments.
Our Solutions
Our creative, well-researched and tested solutions save on materials, time and cost. Standard designs for acoustic control, including Robust Details, are
frequently over-specified, wasteful and expensive, leading to the unnecessary use of unsustainable resources.
We use BIM software and auralizations to confirm the correct performance standards are met. Next we conduct testing to ensure we design the best solutions for the building, so avoiding any wastage.

Performance Specification – MACH Acoustics will take considerable care to understand and specify the needs of all spaces. We will ensure that the acoustic design of these spaces meets the expectations of the end users where possible, while taking into consideration the listed building status. Performance standards will be based upon the following:
• BREEAM New Construction Scheme
• BS8233:2014 -
An inspection through visual inspection will be undertaken at the time of the acoustic testing. The outcome of this inspection may lead to request of a destructive survey (by others) in order to understand the construction and detailing of the building. A detailed report will be issued, enabling the design team/contactor to fully understand the performance of the current
building fabric.
