Long Term Noise Monitoring
A new development in Cardiff Bay, the project consisted of two ice rinks with one being an arena to hold the ice hockey games of the Cardiff Red Devils. The arena also has the capability of holding large entertainment events.
The Centre for the Arts includes teaching facilities, theatre, gallery and performance and rehearsal studios.
Springfield Community Campus
A fully naturally ventilated development consisting of a number of very flexible multi-use spaces made with sustainable Cross Laminated Timber framing.
The Magdalen Chapter Hotel, Exter
A Grade II listed building renovated into a high quality hotel.
Wembley Alto NW06
Wates approached MACH to consult on the construction of four residential blocks totalling 362 apartments as part of the ongoing Wembley Park regeneration, a stone’s throw away from Wembley Stadium.
Scarlett Spa Hotel, Cornwall
The main aim for this project was to create a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere for the guests.
Almondsbury Air Operations Base
MACH Acoustics completed a long term noise monitoring excesize for the Almondsbury Air Operations Base. This was a delicate balance which needed professionalism, weighing up the needs of the community with the concerns of neighboring residents. The team was able to provide an expert and articulate set of results to alleviate concerns and increase trust within the community

An extensive vibration monitoring project
Heathrow Hydrant Operating Company Ltd
Surveys of the Heathrow airport to ensure that employees at the refueling sites are not exposed to excessive amounts of noise.
Greenwich Peninsula M0114/M0115
Two large residential towers prominently situated within the development of the Greenwich Peninsula demonstrated MACH Acoustics approach to cost efficient residential design.
Plymouth University - James Square
A new-build 450 student bedroom block, a refurbished 350 student bedroom block and a 7-storey education building.
Didcott Waste Management Site
An assessment of the noise coming from the activities at the waste management site
PSBP - West Midlands Framework
This large framework of 6 primary and 2 secondary schools provided a challenging but successful value engineering exercise.
The Newark Academy
The Newark Academy is large super block located relatively close to a railway line.
University of Bath - Centre for the arts
The Centre for the Arts includes teaching facilities, theatre, gallery and performance and rehearsal studios.
Bath University, East Building
Multipurpose, post graduate, naturally ventilated, open-plan offices, 350 seat lecture theatre.
Weston Town Hall Refurbishment
A complete refurbishment of the existing town hall which contained extensive open plan spaces centred around a large atrium, with no separating walls.
Foreign and Commonwealth Building
A £30M project retro-fitting a five-storey conference pavilion into one of the main courtyards at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.
Devizes Extra Care Home
A new Extra Care Centre consisting of 39 two bedroom and 8 one bedroom apartments with communal spaces.
Wapping Wharf Phase One
Phase one of the development will feature 194 residential apartments, including 26 affordable homes, and 865 sq. meters of retail and leisure space along Bristol’s harbor.
JG Walker Groudworks
A noise assessment of ground opertations
Bunkersonx Recording Studio
Mach Acoustics work with White Design to provide Acoustic consultancy services for the refurbishment and change of use of a Victorian industrial unit to a new recording studio.
The Curve: Multi-purpose performance hall, Slough
Part of a bigger and very acoustically challenging development comprising a library open to a full-height void above an internal public street which includes a noisy café.
GE Aviation, Cheltenham
The Electrical Power Integration Centre (EPIC) building involved the conversion of an existing 1940’s structure into a world leading aircraft electrical systems testing and development centre.
Princess of Wales Hospital - Brookhaven Building
A new building consisting of 30 bedrooms all with ensuite facilities, which was designed as a 'home away from home' to aid recovery.
Morriston Comprehensive
This large BREEAM ‘excellent’ school with over 10,500 m2 of teaching facilities saw a number of new buildings built in phases around the existing school, which also had extensive refurbishment.
Walls Court Farm Academy
A creative and fully open plan school.
Steiner Academy Frome
Part refurbishment, part new build development that is built using CLT.

A new outlet in the heart of Bristol which required an extensive noise survey
Hans Price Academy
A fully open plan academy encompassing 2000 students from primary to 6th form.

An innovative flexible open plan school full.
Cardiff Post-Graduate Business School
The building is to be built next to a busy railway and is to be naturally ventilated; hence noise ingress and vibration are key design factors of this building.
Keynsham Civic Centre
A regional 2015 RIBA award winner with a mix of retail and cellular and open plan offices.
Imperial Tobacco HQ
An award winning BREEAM ‘Excellent’ £18m new headquarters with 100,000 m2 over 4 floors at Phase 1, and the £6m refurbishment of an old factory next door at Phase 2
