Project Information

1 West is a large 3 phase refurbishment project, which is a key academic building of the university. The building has seen the addition of new learning facilities, computer laboratories, research facilities and offices. MACH Acoustics has carried out a detailed noise survey to ensure that the large number of mechanical plant servicing the nearby building wouldn’t affect the internal noise levels of the new spaces and numerous sound insulation tests to ensure that the existing floor slabs were providing sufficient sound insulation.
