Case Studies

Bristol University
MACH Acoustics, in collaboration with
Capita Architects, was involved in the
sustainable refurbishment of Bristol
University’s Graduate School.

Dartington PRimary school
Various strategies were developed with
Arup, including the creation of a
landscaped bund using recycled tyres,
a simple, sustainable solution.

Winford Primary School
MACH successfully
implemented natural ventilation though
careful consideration of building’s
placement.

LLwynderw primary school
The acoustic design, which cross
ventilates classrooms via a single,
central chimney, saved money and
building space.

EBBW Vale Learning zone
Ebbw Vale is the largest
regeneration project in Wales.
MACH worked with
BDP to develop a natural ventilation
strategy between classrooms.

Rogiet Primary School
A cross ventilation approach was
chosen as it reduces
the need for large façade vents and
limits the noise ingress.

St Peter's Primary school
MACH Products was employed by
South Gloucestershire Council to
provide a range of design options to
prevent noise ingress.

Hertfordshire law court
MACH
provided a vented facade solution using weather louvres connected to a raised, vented floor containing the Honeycomb
Attenuator.

London Academies
The Honeycomb Attenuator was used
throughout the design as it was shown
to outperform conventional
attenuators in size and performance.
